Russia said the Taliban confirmed would join Moscow talk next week
Written by news2in

Moscow: Taliban representatives have confirmed that they will take part in talks in Afghanistan in Moscow next week, the Special Representative of President Vladimir Putin in Afghanistan said on Friday.
The official, Zamir Kabulov, said in comments published by Russian news agencies that the Taliban had confirmed their presence at the talk next Wednesday but had not announced members of their delegation.
Moscow held an international conference on Afghanistan in March where Russia, the United States, China and Pakistan released a joint statement calling for Afghanistan which then reached a peaceful agreement and curb violence.
Since then, the United States and its allies have attracted their troops after 20 years on the ground, the Taliban had seized power and the previous government had collapsed.
Russia is now worried about the potential of Fallout in a wider area and the possibility of Islamic militants infiltrated the former Soviet Republic in Central Asia, which is seen as a South defensive buffer.
Since the Taliban takeover, Moscow has held military training in Tajikistan and strengthens hardware on his military base there.
