Moscow: Russia plans to divert more than 160 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria and sign 10 agreements in the next seven days on the sidelines of a bilateral forum in Damascus, said the Russian Ministry of Defense Saturday.
The Forum for the Russian and Syrian Interpartmentate group on repatriation of refugees and peace restoration is scheduled for July 26.
“In the scope of the forum, from 24-29 July, 230 people in the Russian delegation will pay a business visit to Syria Arabic to Syria.
Republic; more than 160 tons of food, medicine, goods, equipment, and shipping will be delivered from Russia To Syria by Russian aerospace forces as humanitarian aid for a population in need, “said the ministry in a statement.
Humanitarian delivery will be sent to seven cities and the Syrian area, including temporary refugee centers, educational and medical organizations, according to the statement.
In addition, Russia and Syria intend to sign 10 agreements and memorandum in law, cybersecurity, customs unions, trade and economic cooperation, and enlightenment, as part of the event.
Led by the Head of the National Defense Management Center, Mikhail Mizinsev, the Russian delegation will include military staff, officials from 30 institutions and federal state organizations, and representatives of five regions of the country.
