Moscow: Russia urged Afghanistan and the Taliban to begin negotiations meaningful in forming the transition coalition government before it was too late, the news agency Ria quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.
The Taliban delegation in Moscow last week said that the group controlled more than 85% of the regions in Afghanistan – a statement dismissed by the government – and told Russia it would not allow the country to be used as a platform to attack others.
