Moscow: Russia and Uzbekistan will hold together military training in Uzbekistan near the Afghan border from July 30 to August 10, the Interfax news agency quoted the Russian Armed Forces on Tuesday.
This exercise will take place in the southernmost surxondaryo province and will involve around 1,500 soldiers and around 200 vehicles, including airplanes.
On Monday, the Russian armed forces said Russia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan would hold a military training of 20 km from the Afghanistan border in Tajikistan starting August 5-10.
