Russian CO starts manufacturing n-reactors for the last unit of Kudankulam N-PLANT

Providing construction work in the Nuclear Factory project Kudankulam, atommash-aem-technologies, part of the Division of Machinery Building from Russia Atom Energy Corporation Rosatom, has begun to produce nuclear reactors and steam generators for 6 plant units in Tamil Nadu.
Reactor space and steam generation have passed inspections and items on the initial operation of the manufacturing cycle.
Construction in the last unit (No.
6) was officially launched last December.
In the contract frame for the fifth and sixth power unit of power plants, JSC Aem-Technologies will produce and supply two nuclear reactors with internal and block over VVER-1000 types, two sets of steam generators, reactor cooling liquids.
Pump sets of corpses, main circulation pipes, emergency core cooling system tanks, passive core flood system tanks and two pressurisers.
The total weight of items will be around 6,000 tons.
