PETUSHKI: Russian resistance leader Alexei Navalny appeared in court via video connection on Wednesday to the beginning of hearings into complaints against states in his inaugural colony. Navalny, 44, has been detained in February and is currently operating two-and-a-half years in a centre outside Moscow on older fraud charges he says are politically inspired.
