Berlin: A Russian diplomat was found dead in October outside the embassy of the country in Berlin, appearing on Friday.
The man, whose non-ladies’ body was found on October 19 on the sidewalk by the police, seemed to fall on his death from the embassy complex, according to Spiegel Weekly who first reported the case.
A spokesman for the German Foreign Ministry said this case was “known by the Ministry” but would not provide further details.
Confirming death, the Russian embassy called it “tragic accident”.
“All procedures related to repatriating diplomat’s body back to their homeland are immediately resolved by enforcement of responsible German laws and medical authorities in accordance with current practices,” said the Embassy in a statement.
