New Delhi: Russian Ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev on Sunday thanked the Government of India and its people to facilitate the election of countries in various cities throughout the country.
Noting the importance of elections, the Ambassador Kudashev and his wife voted for the Russian Parliamentary Low Council.
“Today’s election is underway for Russia Parliament.
Russian Duma Russian state or Lok Sabha, if I say so.
We are very grateful to the Government and the people of India to facilitate this event,” Kudashev Ani said.
“Without reducing the final results of the election, we guarantee that the choice of Russian people will be correct.

The police election commission has been formed, including in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, and is ready to receive Russian voters, said an official of the Russian Embassy.
Russian foreign mission and consulate hold the election for the Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly State, which is being carried out from September 17 to 19.
A total of 348 polling stations in 144 countries have been prepared for Russians who are permanently or temporarily based on foreign countries.
