Russian fine Google not to delete prohibited content

Moscow: Moscow Court on Tuesday Fired Alphabet Inc.’s Google is 10.5 million rubles ($ 142,877) for violating Russian rules on prohibited content, penalties come in the midst of a wider deadlock between Russia and large technology companies.
Russia has routinely fined social media giants for failing to remove content that is prohibited and try to force foreign technology companies to open offices in this country.
Tagansky Moscow District Court said Google had submitted three administrative fines of 4 million rubles, each 1.5 million rubles and 5 million rubles.
A Google spokesman confirmed the first two fine but did not provide additional comments.
Google faced two additional cases at the Moscow court later on Tuesday, the court press office said.
Russia has hit Google with a series of small fines in the past year, for reasons from not removing Moscow content is considered illegal to localize user data.
Google is also the subject of the Moscow court order that requires it to unblock Tsargrad Youtube TV accounts, the Christian Orthodox channel owned by Constantine Malofeev, which is under US and EU financial sanctions.
Hearing appeal is scheduled for September 20.
Tsarragrad TV on Monday said he had left talks with Google, who had YouTube, and accused the US company dragging it in negotiations.
