Rustic school hopes to reopen

Nagpur: As a new academic session at Vidarbha rolling to the first week, many schools in remote areas hope will be reopened physically.
With online classes it does not become a practical approach due to lack of resources and sometimes even access to the internet, physical teaching modes remain the only choice.
Borekat, the Principal of the Eklavya Residential School (DEVADA) model in Chandrapur, said the teaching approach must be adjusted to the situation.
“There is no way online teaching can be done for poor tribal students living in remote villages.
Also, the impact of learning when done in physical mode is at a completely different level,” Borekat said.
In the Gadchiroli district, Bhamragarh Taluka, everything is no different.
Vinit Padmawar, Principal of Zilla Parishad in Kedanganguda Village, said the reality of land in their area was very different.
“There is a place where we don’t even get a telephone network, so internet access comes out of questions for many of our students.
This is a family of bad tribes that are now slowly realizing the importance of education, but for that we need to keep children involved in the ecosystem Education, “Padmawar said.
Gadchiroli Regency and Chandrapur were the first to start school physically last year after the government surrendered.
But for Padmawar, who heads elementary school, the physical class has never started as permission given only to high school.
To overcome this, ZP schools in Bhamragarh started home visits and teaching students.
An education official, who did not want to be identified, said, “Many government schools in remote areas are ready to be reopened.
Social distance is not a problem because it is almost no 25-30 students registered throughout the school.
In the city, you have more students in one section .
We have cases of schools that opened physically even before permission is given for both parents and students want that to happen.
“So far, the state government has not issued a directive regarding the resumption of the physical classroom.
