Rwas support engineers, looking for probes by independent panels

Gurgaon: Some Associations of Welfare Residents (RWAS) in the city have supported Superintending Engineers suspended (SE) Ramesh Sharma and plans to submit a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner who is looking for government by the Independent Committee.
Some Rwa’s head said the official was ‘targeted’ by MCG board members and said even if there was a violation or negligence of the assignment on his side, it must be thoroughly investigated before the sequence order was issued.
“He (Sharma) is a man’s action with a very good track record that speaks himself.
During the heavy rain this July, he worked without stopping with his team to clean waste in the 9A sector and restore the normal state than we expected.
The focus is Resolve people’s problems, “said Lalit Suraj Bihola, Convenor, United Gurugram Rwa.
Bhola called Sharma’s suspension unfair and said it happened when he “did not swipe into political pressure”.
“We have written to the Chief of Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and urban ministers and urban ministers Anil VIJ requested a decision to be reversed and gave him a fair trial,” he added.
Malkhan Singh, President of Rwa from Sector 23A said, “There are very few officials at the MCG who are trying to overcome our concerns.
Sharma is one of them.
He is very active and trying to finish a delayed job in the MCG area.” Singh said the decision to suspend Sharma was ” Bias and taken in a hurry “, adding that they will take problems for Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjeet Singh and CM, if needed.
Some President Rwa said the procedure was not followed in the case of Sharma.
The suspension, they added, could have an impact on the morale of other officials working sincerely against increasing the city.
They said that the board members had been heard by VIJ, Sharma had not been given the opportunity to present the case.
Calling accountability, Sector 10A President Rwa Udayvir Yadav said, “Gravity of violations and what caused him to be investigated.” Yogita Kataria, President of the Market Welfare Association, Sector 4, is also urgent for the revocation of the suspension and the action instead must be taken against corrupt officials.
