Gurgaon: Representatives from various Rwas meet the MCG Commissioner on Thursday and demanding that garden maintenance and community centers must be maintained with them.
In addition, representatives also appealed to Commissioners for the involvement of RWA in development work carried out by MCG in their respective sectors.
RWA representatives say there have been various examples where the work is shown finished on paper but the reality on the ground is different.
“The cost of this facility (community and park center) is included in the cost of our property.
So we are park owners and community centers and MCGs are for maintenance purposes.
They cannot fully submit this facility without approval with RWAS.
We also told them That when Rwa was ready to defend it at Rs 3 per square meter, “said Lalit Suraj Bhola, General Secretary of Sector 9a Rwa.
“Development work is done here on paper.
We are direct stakeholders.
It cannot happen that work is done in my house and other people provide satisfying certificates for it.
When our sector is under HSVP, we are given complete rights.
After MCG took over, Rwas was truly lined up, “said Chaitali Mandhotra, a member of Rwa from Ardee City.
The problem of taking back the garden maintenance from Rwas was discussed in the last house meeting held on July 31.
“I have received a representation from RWA with their demands.
I will research and then receive a call,” said Commissioner MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja.
