Mahabubabad: burdened by debt, a 36-year-old farmer committed suicide in Narsampet from Mahabubabad on Tuesday.
He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Narsampet.
Sub-Inspector of Guduru B Sateesh said Dharmsothu Bikku, a resident of Gajulagatttu Village, had consumed pesticides in his agricultural fields could not pay debts.
Farmers from the neighboring farm field found him lying faint and notify his family.
The case has been submitted under the part 174 CRPC (suspicious death).
