S Jaishankar meets Croatian Prime Minister; discuss bilateral and afghan bonds

Zagreb: Minister of External Affairs Jaisankar on Friday met Croatia Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and discussed the opportunity to further expand bilateral cooperation, including in pharmaceuticals, digital and infrastructure.
Jaisankar thanked Plenkovic because he received it in Zagreb and said that they also discussed “suppressing global problems”, including the situation in Afghanistan.
“Thank you Prime Minister @andrejplenkovic to accept me warmly at Zagreb.
Discuss the opportunity to further expand our bilateral cooperation included in pharmaceuticals, digital and infrastructure.
Appreciate his insight on pressing global issues, especially Afghanistan,” Jaishankar said on Twitter.
He arrived at Zagreb after completing a two-day visit to Slovenia, where he held a bilateral meeting with a logged Anze colleague Slovenia, apart from calling the leadership of the country’s top.
During his visit to Croatia, the Minister of External Affairs will hold bilateral talks with Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman, and asked Croatian leadership.
The Taliban seized power in Afghanistan on August 15, two weeks before the withdrawal of our troops complete on August 31 after a war of two decades expensive.
This forced Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to escape from the country to the UAE.
The Taliban rebels invaded above Afghanistan and arrested all major cities in a matter of days, when Afghan security forces were trained and equipped with the US and its allies melted.
Thousands of citizens and foreigners Afghanistan have left the country to escape from the new Taliban regime and to seek asylum in different countries, including the US and many European countries, resulting in total chaos and death.
