New Delhi: Minister of External Affairs Jaisankar met with the Chief of Staff of Nepal General Prabhu Ram Sharma on Thursday, a day after the last given the honor of the Indian army General.
Jaisankar said that Sharma’s visit underlined the importance of close relations between India and Nepal.
“Glad to accept General Prabhu Ram Sharma, Army Chief of Staff, Nepal Army.
His visit underlined the closeness of our relationship,” Minister Tweeted.
Previously on Wednesday, RAM President Nath Kovind ranked Honorary Indian Army General at the Chief of Staff of Nepal General Prabhu Ram Sharma in Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.
“President Kovind paid the honor of the Indian army general at General Prabhu Ram Sharma, CoAs, Nepal Army,” Tweeted the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
