Sabarmati Riverfront Flower Show tickets to be limited

Ahmedabad: For the first time, a ticket to the Sabarmati Riverfront flower show will be only available online.
Visitors will be asked to order tickets in advance for a certain day and time slot.
Flower shows will be held between January 8 and January23.
“There will be no ticket seller window on the site,” said a senior AMC official.
Because the pandemic, Sabaramati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL) has been limited to 400 hour tickets.
“The 400 moment of tickets booked for that hour, the order will stop.
Visitors can order in advance,” said AMC senior official.
Last year, the flower show got eight Lakh visitors.
The official added, “this year because of online ordering, we expect between 50,000 and 1.2 lakh visitors, only about 10% of the usual crowd.” The official said that they would have volunteers who were positioned at 60,000 square meters to take people in one hour.
Online booking is likely to be opened from January 5.
When it comes to the Kite Festival at RiverFront, SRFDCL also plans to introduce more stringent access control, which means fewer visitors will be allowed at the event.
SRFDCL officials claim they expect only 25% of the usual number of visitors at the Kite Festival.
