AHMEDABAD: Together with the evolution of the western bank of Sabarmati Riverfront, the eastern bank as well as an expansion on both sides are shortly to be implemented as a member of the next stage of the riverfront development project.

For this, the complete duration of the riverfront is going to probably be approximately 34km.
An estimated cost of Rs 850 crore was put aside for the undertaking.
The concept design and planning work have been finished to the second stage and an in-principle acceptance was given.
Hydrology in addition to hydraulic study was completed for its growth work in the field of Phase-II and its affirmation has been completed by National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee.
