LUDHIANA: Every day later BJP staged a large protest against Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, today Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have started against the congress leader.
However on Thursday senior leaders of SAD and BSP lodged a complaint from Bittu using all the police commissioner Rakesh Aggarwal requiring his arrest because of hurting the sentiments of dalit community.
Providing particulars, senior SAD leaders Charanjit Singh Atwal and Gulzar Singh Ranike stated,”The delegation demanded that a case ought to be filed against Ravneet Bittu under section 295 (per year ) for hurting the sentiments of their scheduled caste community.
We introduced into the notice of the Police Commissioner that conclusive proof was available against Bittu in public kingdom and the authorities shouldn’t attempt and rescue him only because he belonged to the Congress party” Based on SAD spokesperson, Dr Daljit Singh Cheema,”It’s apparent the Bittu had intentionally slandered that the dalit community to please his political masters from wondering the sacred chairs of Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib was awarded to the BSP under its own cooperation with the SAD.
Bittu has effectively said that sacred seats are awarded to unmarried persons.
That is intolerable since it goes contrary to the constitution that ensures equality to all is also contrary to Sikh ethos and culture.
Bittu had symbolized Anandpur Sahib Constituency within an MP and understood concerning the history of this region” Dr.
Cheema also included,”Bittu understands that it had been in Anandpur Sahib which Sri Guru Gobind Singh chose men in the oppressed segments of society to make a casteless and classless society.
It was at Anandpur Sahib the Guru created the proclamation’Rangretta Guru ke beta’ if the severed head of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur has been introduced to him Bhai Jaita.
Bittu also understands that it had been in Chamkaur Sahib which Guru Sahib talented his’kalgi’ into the Dalit community.
At the light of those facts it’s apparent the Bittu intentionally uttered the thoughts of the Dalit community”.
BSP leaders Gurmail GK and Jeet Ram Basra alleged that Bittu was hoping to spoil the air in the State by flaring ideas along with his inflammatory claims.
They stated it was shocking that the Congress government had been dragging its feet over the matter and hadn’t taken any actions in the subject till today.
The leaders stated if due action wasn’t removed from Bittu and that he wasn’t detained the BSP could intensify its consequences.
Others present on the event included Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Hira Singh Gabria, Pawan Kumar Tinu, Manpreet Singh Ayali, S T Kler, Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, Ranjit Singh Dhillon, Gurmeet Singh Kular and Isher Singh Meharban.
