Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (Sad) on Saturday asked the Congress Government in Punjab to issue executive orders not to implement steps to expand BSF’s jurisdiction.
The opposition party is more demanding that Chararjit’s dispensation Singh Channi-LED issues the same executive decision to stop the implementation of the three “black” central agricultural laws.
The party’s core committee demands the government punjab issued executive orders that direct their officers not to allow the implementation of the central decision in the state, saying this falls under the subject of the state in the Indian constitution, according to the release of the party here.
The core committee meeting was chaired by the head of the Sukhbir Singh Badal party.
“The Congress government led by Charanjit Singh Channi was trying to make people of Punjab by offering Vidhan Sabha’s resolution on these two problems while in reality it was that the government itself was empowered to stop the implementation of the central commands on issues that fall under the jurisdiction of the state government .
Agriculture and law and order is the subject of the state, “according to a resolution passed by the committee core which is sad.” Why did they come to the Vidhan Sabha for a resolution? Do Vidhan Sabha stop the Punjab government from continuing executive order to stop the BSF (extension of jurisdiction) and Agricultural law, “said it further.
The union government recently changed BSF’s actions to authorize the strength of the border guards to carry out searches, seizures and arrests in a 50 km stretch, up from 15 km, from the international border in Punjab, West Bengal and Assam.
The Special Session of the Punjab Council will be held on November 8 to reject the center notice that expands BSF’s jurisdiction and agricultural law.
Harcharan Bains, the main adviser to the sad president, said the party also slammed the central government’s decision to expand the provisions of the J & K anti-terror law to Punjab, called it a frontal attack.
Sad to ask the Congress government to be clean about his attitude towards the central decision in this matter.
The core committee also requires compensation from Rs 50,000 and Rs 15,000 per hectare for farmers and farm laborers affected by plant damage due to pink bollworm pests.
