NEW DELHI: After repeated delays due to the second wave of Covdi-19, Hyundai Motor India is set to launch the Alcazar SUV on June 18.
In a digital event, the price of Alcazar will be revealed.
Alcazar, which means castle in Spanish, is expected to carry an ex-showroom price between Rs 12.5 lakh and 20 lakh.
Alcazar, the extended version of Creta, packs three rows inside.
Available I both 6- and 7-seater options, Alcazar will mark Hyundai India’s debut in the growing 3-row SUV market.
Hyundai Alcazar’s prime rivals will be MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and Toyota Innova Crysta to an extent.
Alcazar will be offered in 1.5-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol engine options with the choice of both automatic and manual transmissions.
