Sahitya Parishat poll: Opposition Unites as Lingaraj Angadigi looking for the 3rd term

Dharwad: Lingaraj Angadi, president of the obligation of Dharwad Regency Kannada Sahitya Parisat, who is looking for a third term in a row, may have cleared the legal obstacles, but he now finds himself on a sticky goal because all the others in the race have joined the defeat.
With the election arranged for the week, Nagaraj Kiranagi, who was in a commotion for the position of President, was announced on Friday that he attracted and urged voters to choose Malagi Ramu, recipients of national teacher awards, folk singers, and writers.
Kiranagi has moved the High Court challenging the nomination of the Lingaraj Angadif for the President’s position for the third term in a row said that it violated KSP regulations.
He also questioned the appointment of Dharwad Tahsildar as election officers said that an assistant commissioner officer should have been made election officers.

Angadi, Kirani and malauan are in the contest for posts.
Kiranagi has accused the court misunderstanding about KSP regulations.
He has stated that he will challenge Angadi’s election in court if the latter has been chosen again.
On Friday, Kirani in front of a senior member, the former President of KSP DM Hiratha and the others announced that he had decided to support Malagi Ramu, a teacher, singer and writer.
Lingaraj Angadi moved to oppose the election for the third time not going down with his own supporters and some senior members advised him to give a way for newcomers.
But he was unrelenting and had submitted his letters.
Melagi supported members have appealed to Angadi to honor the terms of the majority of members and retirement from the commotion so that they open the way to Malagi Ramu.
The stage set box for strengthening poll KSP to state unit and KSP district will be held on Sundays starting at 8am to 4pm.
Election officer and Dharwad Tahsildar Santosh Bircadu said a total of 10 voting stations were established in Dharwad, Hubballi, and all the places of the district region.
In Dharwad, two voting stations have been established in the Management Department in Karnatak College while in Alnavar, a polling booth has been formed at the City Panchayat Office.
In Hubballi Three Polling Booths will be at the office of the Tahasasildar at the Mini Vidhana Soudha.
The Tahasabar office will have a polling booth in Kundgol, Annigeri, Kalghatagi and Navalgund.
There were 5,199 voters including 1,790 in Dharwad Taluk, 154 in Alnavar, 1,512 in Hubballi City, 88 in Hubballi Rural, 755 in Kundgol, 303 in Navalgund, 388 in Kalghiragi.
Vote counting will be at the Tahsildar office in Dharwad at the same night.
Confident Win: Angada Exuding Trust Lingaraj Angadi said he would win the election and become the president for the third time because my previous development work would help me win the election.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said that as President of the District KSP for the past eight years, he has handled many successful programs including 84 Akhila Bharata Kannada Sammelana in Dharwad in 2019, establishing Kannada Representative Assistance with the assistance of selected representatives.
