Enoshima: It has come out of the Medal, India Sailor Vishnu Saravanan finishes the third commendle in one of the two laser events on Friday that see it up three places to 20th place in the Olympics here.
After the third finish in the number nine race, the Saravanan ended at 15 next to the total of the 20th of 35 sailors at the laser event with 156 clean points.
Only the medal race left in the competition at Harbor Enoshima Yacht.
In the skiff of the two men, a pair of Indian KC Ganapatati and Varun Thakkar finished 17, 11 and 16 in three races to keep up with the overall 17th position of 19 competitors with 116 net points.
Three races and medals are still in the competition.
Nethra Kodan continued his disappointing shape when he dropped four places 35 with 251 net points of 44 sailors in a female radial laser after completing 37 and 38 in the ninth and tenth races.
Only the medal race left in the competition.
Each event consists of a series of races.
Points in each race are given according to the position: the winner gets one point, the second finisher score and so on.
