Veteran actor Saira Banu has returned home after being repatriated from the hospital here, a family friend near Faisal Farooqui said on Sunday.
The 77-year-old ‘Padosan’ actor, who lost her husband Dilip Kumar in July, was treated at Hindu Hindu Hospital, non-Covid-19 facility, in Khar on August 28 after shortness of breath, high blood pressure and high sugar.
“Saira Ji is fine.
He was dismissed and returned home.

On Thursday, a hospital doctor said that Saira Banu had been diagnosed with heart problems – acute coronary syndrome.
Saira Banu’s husband and Dilip Kumar screen icon died on July 7 at the age of 98 after a long disease.
The couple, who acted together in several films, including ‘Sagina’ and ‘Gopi’, married in 1966.
