Karamta from Gokul Hospital approached the Police Commissioner (CP) regarding fraud.
I wanted to meet CP directly because the number of fraud was large.
But he said there was no PIR that could be registered and called the police inspector (Crime Branch) VK Gadhvi and asked us to go with him.
Gadhvi then left us in his room stating he would meet CP.
He returned after some time and told us that he would register our application and that CP had asked the Commission 30 percent of the recovery.
Dr.
Karamta was also present there with me, I told him (Gadhvi) How could I pay a 30 percent commission when it was not illegal money but the number of laws we had cheated on.
Finally, they (police) agreed 15 percent.
“He continued to state That even after the police recovered money from the defendant, they did not take strict action against them.
“The police gave us a Veraval commercial property against our extraordinary money that we could not sell.
They calculated the value of the shops and demanded us to pay Rs 75 lakh.
We paid Rs 50 Lakh to the Psi Sakhra who lived in Bhupendra Road.
After that , he (Sakhra) called us to the CP office.
The recovery of cash is Rs 1.2 Crore, they gave us ownership through Kabja Khats of 32 stores in Veraval, “he said, adding that all investigations were made only on the application.
“The police registered firs only when we met Harsh Sanghvi, CR Paatil and chairman of the minister directly.
We gave them a copy of the application and then they forced the police to register fir.
The defendant had a good relationship with the police and therefore there was no fear.
One of the Defendants Have brought a car with our money we provided proof of police.
I have 100 percent trust that the branch of the crime of Rajkot is a hawala branch, “added the complainant.
