Salman Khan will be back on set on Monday to shoot for the patchwork of the film ‘Antim’.
FWICE general secretary Ashok Dubey confirmed the development and added, “They’re going to work on a four-day patch work.
They will be shooting for the first two days at Kamalistan Studio and the next two days will be at a Bungalow in Byculla.”
Salman will be returning to the sets for the first time after the second lockdown.
He is one of those few actors who has been working during the pandemic, too.
He has shot for a film and had a release on Eid as well.
‘Radhe’ became one of big films to have a digital pay per view along with a partial theatrical release.
Salman Khan has a special role in ‘Antim’ and his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma is playing the male lead in it.
Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, ‘Antim’ is based on the Marathi film ‘Mulshi Pattern’.
The film was slated for a July release, but those plans were pushed due to the second Covid-19 related lockdown.
Manjrekar had recently revealed that the release of the film had been pushed ahead indefinitely because he did not foresee theatres opening up until October and beyond.
With the Maharashtra government reimbursing curbs in the unlock process, it looks like Manjrekar’s predictions might come true.
It was in December last year that Salman had shared a teaser from the film on social media and announced that he would feature in an action-packed role alongside Aayush.
The teaser had an intense fight sequence between the two stars of the movie.
The story of the film is about villagers who sell their land at lower prices and end up in impoverished conditions.
Apart from ‘Antim’ Salman also has ‘Tiger 3’ in the offing along with Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif.
Bhai’s fans are also looking forward to big-ticket releases like ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’.
