All through the pandemic, Salman Khan has come to the rescue of those in the industry who found themselves to be unemployed in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak and the resulting lockdown.
Now that things are looking up with the second surge on the decline and an aggressive vaccination drive, Bhai continues to help cine workers of Bollywood.
The actor has honoured his commitment and once again transferred Rs 1500 into the accounts of workers from various departments of the workers union.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari gushes, “Salman Khan is one of the large-hearted actors of Bollywood who has continued to help us whenever we need any support.
He had helped our members in the first lockdown too we are grateful to him.
He has told us that he will continue to help our workers in the future too”.
The actor had recently distributed food packets to frontline workers through his philanthropic initiative.
Last year too, Salman had transferred funds into the accounts of the daily wage workers.
He had made a payment of Rs 3000 each to the daily wage workers account.
The workers have also received help from the Producers Guild of India and other production houses, which have facilitated vaccines and money transfers to workers’ accounts.
Tiwari adds, “We are eternally grateful to the film industry coming in support of its fraternity”.
