Jaipur: Complaints of police filed on Friday against the former Union Minister and Congress Leader Salman Khurshid for his book recently ‘the sun rises than Ayodhya – Nationality in the Cotwali police time at the Jaipur police station.
Advocate Bharat Sharma filed a complaint below in Section 153, 295 of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) on the statement quoted in the Khurshid book, on the grounds of ‘hurting religious sentiments’.
Speaking to reporters, Advocate Sharma said, “While a newspaper, I know that Salman Khurshid, in his book, has compare Hindutva to radical terrorist groups such as ISIS and Boko Haram.” Condemning such a comparison, advocate accused Khurshid from hurting religious sentiments through his book.
“It was condemned and injured my religious sentiment.
And that is why I filed a complaint at the Kotwali Police Station and demanded fir against him.
The case must be submitted on the grounds of hurting religious sentiments,” he said.
Previously on Thursday, Bharatiya Party leader Janata Ram Kadam had filed a police complaint against Khurshid for his book and also against the leader of the Rashid Alvi congress on his comments on the ‘RAM Rematures’ at the Ghatkopar Mumbai Police Station.
Kadam demanded a complaint and arrest of Congress leaders.
Yesterday, two Delhi’s lawyers also filed a complaint to the Delhi police against Khurshid, for allegedly slandering and comparing Hinduism with terrorism in his book.
On Wednesday, the former Union Minister Salman Khurshid was involved in controversy to “slander and compare Hinduism with terrorism” in his recent book “Sunrise than Ayodhya: Nationality in our day.
The new book Khurshid about Ayodhya’s verdict was released last week.
It explores Assessment of Landmark Pex Court for Ayodhya’s disputes.
The leader of the Senior Congress of Khurshid has compared Hindutva to radical terrorist groups such as “ISIS and Boko Haram”.
The development came at seven countries in the country namely Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Gujarat is scheduled to go for the election of assembly next year.
