PATNA: A salon owner in Darbhanga district is offering free haircut and shave to the beneficiaries, who have been inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccines.
Shambhu Kumar Thakur, the owner of a salon located at Baita Chowk in Darbhanga, told IANS that he was providing free haircut to the people in order to promote the vaccination drive in the district.
Those seeking the free service need to present their vaccination certificates or selfies clicked while taking the shots.
“The state government is taking various steps to inform the people about the vaccination drive.
I have also decided to educate the people,” Thakur said.
He added, “I have provided free service to over 200 clients so far.
I have also put up a board stating the offer outside the salon.”
