Kolkata: The death of his parents, grandmother and sister in the range of 10 months in 2016 has pushed the 25-year-old bank official, P Samwrith, into a state of depression.
He broke down and chose to commit suicide when the “sister”, who had helped him out of his depression, also died last week.
Samwrith, who seems to have committed suicide by using a suicide bag – DIY device consisting of a large plastic bag with a draw rope used to kill themselves using inert gas (helium, nitrogen or argon) – leaving a two-page suicide note in English.
He had ended the letter, stating “I stopped” and no one was responsible for his death.
The police said that in the suicide notes, young people considered themselves as “evil forces” responsible for the death of the person they loved.
