Samantha Ruth Prabhu has received love and appreciation for his role in ‘The Family Man 2’.
ETimes caught up with the actress in My Glamm OTT Filmfare Awards 2021, where he spoke his heart out about his OTT round, inspiring yoga video, split with Naga Chaitanya, who controlled the social media and much more.
Samantha has garnered hosannas for his role in a fierce and independent Rajji ‘The Family Man 2’.
Reacting to praise him saying, “It was liberating.
female actors do not often have access to such a role, to explore the different dimensions of the personality of a woman.
It was very liberating to not be a damsel in distress but being a person kicking butt.
”
He may have won rave after the release of the show, but when the first trailer and teaser for The Family Man 2 ‘has come out, Samantha became the target of much criticism related to its role and ethnic representation.
Speaking of the flak he has received, Samantha said, “What happened was before the release.
People consider it, they make assumptions.
But when the series was released, we received many awards and honors unanimously.
I think the trick is to be patient and wait for the product to come out.
”
OTT show is not the only aspect where Samatha getting noticed.
He worked and the yoga video has become a firm favorite with the fans.
He explains, “I want to share it, that it was just part of my personality.
Some people do not like to share.
I want to share and invite people into my life.
I have been quite transparent and it was fun, I enjoyed it.
”
OTT shows, social media, movie, Samantha has a lot on her plate and she loved this phase.
He said, “I busied myself into work.
Work kept me busy.
I am very excited about my project will be part of in the coming years, it will be very challenging.
Every project is different from the next, so I had a great time in 2022 is planned.
”
