Mumbai: Sameer Khan, son-in-law of the Nawab Malik Country Cabinet, has submitted a petition before the Bombay High Court who is looking for arrangement of drug confiscations submitted against him in January by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The Khan petition stated that the chemical analysis report from the Forensic Laboratory said the recovery of contraband goods from it was “negative” and therefore, there was no violation made.
He added that criminal cases under narcotics and psychotropic substances (NDPS) acting cannot be maintained and must be canceled.
Khan claims that the case of it “reckless, fake, confused and funny”.
Special NDPS courts have recently provided Khan Bail, after nine months of being held.
Khan’s petition said NCB stated that he had received information about ‘some suspicious packages received in universal couriers and cargo offices to be sent abroad and they contain contraba-nd drugs.
RAID was carried out on January 9, and packages containing marijuana weighing 70GM, 265GM and 3.5GM were thought to be confiscated.

Khan said he appeared before NCB and his statement was recorded.
He was arrested on January 13 for various violations, including serious part 27A from drug trafficking and prohibited conspiracy under the NDPS law.
His petition said: “This is related to note that the alleged statement of the Petitioner [Khan] is to free [involves the elimination of blaming someone; in nature because the Supreme Court said that the statement recorded by NCB officials would not be accepted as evidence by itself …

“It is important to note that the only positively tested sample was taken from Oly’s Owned Goods weighing 7.5GM,” Allegedly, added that it was even in accordance with the NCB case itself and the statement recorded and relied on by the agent, the alleged smuggle recovered was in the example Accused of being together and intended for personal consumption.
He added that from the remaining samples, 11 of the 18 was tested negatively for the presence of any contraband goods and therefore the accusation of the prosecution that the number of commercial smuggles was confiscated failed.
In addition, five samples were found only “vegetative parts of marijuana plants” and did not fall in the Ambit Law NDPS, Khan claimed.
