‘Sample’ for Woo investors among 4 destroyed farm houses

Gurgaon: Four double-floored agricultural houses, spread over 10 hectares of main land in the village of Bas Gairatpur at the foot of Aravalis, returned by the City Department and State Planning (DTCP) on Monday.
The action came after several complaints received about illegal construction.
The DTCP enforcement team, led by City Planner District Hospital Batth, also destroys the boundary wall and road network and power supply, which has been placed after looking after a few trees.
BATTH tells the Toi that the offenders plan to extend the colony of agricultural houses further to the land of the adjacent 15 hectares.
“New excavation work to put a proven road network on site.
Many trees are also revoked,” he said.
He added that the builder had built a top-class samples farmhouse with all facilities to attract investors.
In accordance with the DTCP investigation, it was found that the cost of one-hectare farmhouse in the area was around Rs 4-5 Crore.
The area of each of the four Rengres farm houses was between 1.5 and 2 hectares.
While the samples and three houses in the price and the quarters of other workers were destroyed, a family lived in another farmhouse and had been asked to empty, he added.
BATTH said the department was in the process of identifying agricultural house builders, after which FIR would be registered and the action would be taken according to the provisions.
Gurgaon District, he added, fell below the controlled area, where it was obliged to take permission from competent authority before the development of the colony.
In this case, there was no previous agreement taken.
Director of DTCP KM Pandurang and Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg has also directed that at least two to three drives must be carried out on illegal farming houses every month.
In August last year, DTCP and MCG had issued a notification to developers 50 illegal farming houses in the bandhwari area in Aravalis.
Around 19 farm houses were destroyed after SC realized the Toi report about the hill leveled to build access roads.
On June 24, TOI has reported that the DTCP has destroyed more than 100 farms last year and cleared nearly 200 hectares of agricultural land.
Most of these farm houses are in Sohna, Bandhwari, Raisina Hills, Buddha, Wazirpur and Farrukhnagar.
