Samsung is reported to work on a smartwatch with a foldable display.
According to the report with Letsgodigital, South Korean company has submitted a 96-page patent document submitted with the world of intellectual property (WIPO) for the same thing.
On June 2, 2021, this document was released and published on December 9, 2021.
The patent image shows a smartwatch with a display that can be extended by pressing the crown device.
The watch screen can extend up to 40 percent, as stated in a patent document.
Users will also have the option to reduce / extend the appearance with sliding movements on the screen.
Patent also shows that SmartWatch will be equipped with a camera under the screen.
According to the report, it will be able to capture photos and videos.
Even though this might be the first Samsung smartwatch with a foldable screen, it won’t be the first in the world.
Nubia Alpha SmartWatch comes with a screen that can be longed.
But the patent shows that Samsung technology is more advanced.
