South Korean Tech giants Samsung has launched a new Galaxy A-Series smartphone in India, called the Galaxy A22.
While the company has not yet said anything officially about the launch of the Galaxy A22, the handset seems to have reached offline markets as a Mumbai Mahesh Telecom-based retailer announcing prices and availability.
Now, the Galaxy A22 has even displayed Samsung India’s official website at the same price.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy A22 and the availability of the Galaxy A22 has been launched in a single storage variant of GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The MRP of this device is registered as Rs 20,499 on the Samsung India website, but there is a discount Rs 2,000, because it sells at RS 18.499.
This is the same price where the model also sells on the offline market.
On the Indian Amazon website, it is sold at RS 18.490 at this time.
Samsung Galaxy A22 Specifications and FeatureLaunched in black and mint options, Samsung Galaxy A22 SPORTS HD + Super AMOLED 6.4 inches with 720x1600p resolution, aspect ratio of 20: 9 and 90Hz refresh speed.
It came backed by OCTA-Core processor – MediaTek Helio G80 according to the Indian Amazon website and was not specified on the Samsung’s official website.
This is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, which is available 103.4GB.
Buyers also get a microSD card up to 1TB with the device.
For imaging tasks, the Galaxy A22 has a quad-camera setting on the back.
The main camera is a 48MP sensor (aperture f / 1.8).
It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor (aperture f / 2.2), 2MP macro sensor (aperture f / 2.4) and 2MP depth sensor (aperture f / 2.44).
Rear camera settings offer up to 10x digital zoom.
The main sensor also offers support for OIS (optical image stabilization), which is said to make the device capture smooth videos and sharp images.
On the front, users get 13MP sensors with aperture f / 2.2.
Supported by a 5000mAh battery, the Galaxy A22 is equipped with support for adaptive 15W fast charging.
Run on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 Core, the Samsung Galaxy A22 offers multiple SIM support, offering a USB type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
