Samsung Galaxy S series phones often outperform the competition when it comes to camera performance.
But, from the last two generations, the company has been using the same triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP sensor, and two 12MP shooters since the launch of Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus.
Now, it appears that Samsung is working on a different or let’s say a new camera array for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus smartphones which is expected to launch next year.
A tipster FrontTron has posted an update on Twitter that claims that Samsung might bring a new camera setup with Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus.
The leakster claims that the ‘Samsung Rainbow’ series will come with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter and a 12MP 3X telephoto lens.
The tipster also mentions that this information is to be taken as a pinch of salt.
A while back, FrontTron also posted that the upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphone is codenamed as Rainbow.
The Galaxy S22 is Red, Galaxy S22 Plus is Green and the Galaxy S22 Ultra is Blue.
The information also coincides with the report from the Korean blog Naver.
This means that there are chances that the information here may be correct and the next Galaxy series might come with this alleged camera setup.
