New Delhi: Samsung consumer electronics giant is expected to launch the next generation folding smartphone – Galaxy Z 3 folding and Galaxy Z Flip 2 in August.
The company is expected to launch a smartphone on August 3 at the next Galaxy event.
An online report recently suggested that both smartphones will go on sale starting August 27.
Now, the upcoming folding smartphone appears on the benchmarking geekbench website.
The geekbench list also reveals several key specifications of the smartphone.

The list of certification reveals that the smartphone will come with the SM-F926U model number.
According to the list, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to run Android 11 operating system on it with a layer of one UI company.
This smartphone is also expected to be powered by the OCTA-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 12GB of RAM.
The list also reveals that smartphones will come with S-Pen and 5G support.
This handset is also said to display the NFC chip.
The upcoming folding smartphone is expected to be supported by a 4275mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The smartphone is also said to display two Super AMOLED views which will include a 6.23-inch cover display and a 7.55-inch internal display.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is also said to sport five cameras that will consist of a rear triple camera consisting of three 12MP shooters and 16MP screen selfie cameras.
The smartphone was also said to come with a 10MP shooter placed on the cover of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Recently, Popular Tipster Mulpons Sharma from Stuflistings revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 which has not been launched has received BIS certification.
This means that Samsung will soon launch a smartphone in India.
At present, it is not clear when the company will launch a smartphone.
