The new Samsung patent application signaled the upcoming TW Earbud with a fully waterproof design.
Let’Sgo Digital reported that South Korean technology giants recently submitted a patent application that signaled the Earbud Tws hybrid with a detachable neckband and designed for underwater use.
The patent application, according to the report, was submitted by Samsung Electronics with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on March 3, 2021.
Patent was published on September 10 with a tool that can be used which can be charged in the user’s ear, and accessories to support communication from it ‘.
The patent application gives us a glimpse of the new Samsung Tws Earbud with detachable neckband and waterproof.
New taking is all about making Earbuds fully waterproof because at this time the Samsung TWS Earbud comes with IP68 water ranking and dustproof.
This means the Earbud is only good for 30 minutes when submerged up to 1 meter under clean water.
After that, it’s likely they will be damaged.
In fact, it is recommended not to swim or under water in wearing this earbud.
Samsung tries to change it with his new design.
In posts, the Earbud design looks exactly similar to the Galaxy bud and the company has also shown a flexible neck that sticks to the earbud to turn it into a neck style wireless earphone.
It seems that Samsung doesn’t want users to lose their earbuds under water and add nontress can confirm it.
The patent application also shows that the Earbud will come with several microphones and sensors and support for two-way speakers.
Health features will also be part of the Earbud.
Earbud will also display touch control.
It feels a little strange for earbuds designed for underwater use because the touch control is mostly gloomy and refuses to register orders with fingers that are even a little wet or sweat.
But, it’s just a patent and there is no information whether Samsung actually plans to launch something like this in the real world in the near future.
