Samsung has begun launching a new beta update for its own internet browser.
Samsung Internet Browser is the default browser pre-scan by each device.
The beta v16.2.15 of the browser carries many updates but the most prominent addition is the option to move the address bar.
Users can now move the browser address bar to the bottom of the page where it is easier to reach when using a device with one hand.
Until now, the address bar is only stationary at the top of the page.
It seems like Samsung tries to follow the footsteps of Apple.
With the launch of iOS 15 and iPados 15, the company redesign the Safari browser and move the address bar to the bottom of the page.
Even though Apple then gives the option to move the address bar back at the top after the user starts complaining about the new look, by default now positioned at the bottom.
With a new beta, Samsung has also added support for tab groups that allow users to sort the tab into the group for easy access.
This feature is available in the Google Chrome browser and Safari.
Another important change in beta update is support for HTTPS upgrades, which are launched as Labs features.
This feature is very similar to HTTPS-First Chrome mode.
Once activated in the settings, it will automatically try to increase all web pages to https.
Beta updates also add better support for foldable smartphones companies such as Galaxy Z Fold3 and the newly launched Galaxy Z Flip3.
If you want to try new features on your Samsung smartphone, you must download and install the Samsung Internet browser beta application from the Google Play Store.
