Sensor 1 / 3.7 inch comes with a 1.2MP resolution and 3μm individual pixel size.
The sensor uses corporate corneripixel technology and according to Samsung can help in complicated situations such as when entering or out of the tunnel.
Claiming sensors offer better overall output during the day and low light conditions.
Cornpixel technology combines 3μm pixels and 1μm pixels in one larger pixels.
3μm pixels are used in low light conditions, while 1μm is used in bright light conditions.
Samsung LSI claims that sensors can offer clear HDR videos in real-time with a 120DB dynamic range without motion blur.
It can also be useful with smart mirrors and self-driving cars.
Samsung claims that sensors can operate within 40 degrees Celsius and 125 degrees Celsius and have default ISPs.
Samsung has also highlighted Use case for new sensors and according to the company, can be used as a front display camera or the surrounding camera display.
