Nagpur: Samvidhan Parivar Social Organization on Saturday held a panel discussion about the ‘back up of school’.
Many stakeholders participating in discussions feel that online classes do not benefit most students because of the limited access to the learning platform.
The panel chaired by Rajendra Sathe, who is the Chair of the Asha Workers’ Association.
Sathe said that online classes have caused major health problems also because the screen time for students increases.
Professor Rahul Moon, Coordinator of Samvidhan Pariwar, said that 70% of students have been influenced by a negative way because of the online class.
Professor Manohar Tambulkar said that education could not be considered as complete unless the teacher and students returned to the classroom.
One panelist, Krishna Yerawar, said they had noticed that the whole students had become “boring” because of the online class because there were not many supervision made possible.
Everyone passed the exam, which, Anil Imalkar felt, was unfair for those who had studied sincerely.
The panel decided to approach public representatives on the problem and lobby to reopen the school everywhere safe to do so.
