San Francisco mandates evidence of vaccination when indoors

San Francisco: San Francisco will require a full vaccination evidence against Covid-19 for a number of indoor activities such as visiting restaurants, bars and fitness centers, the Mayor of London Breed announced Thursday.
“Many businesses San Francisco has led by requiring evidence of vaccination for their customers because they care about the health of their employees, their customers and this city,” said in a statement.
The mandate will be more stringent than the needs announced by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio last week.
San Francisco will need full evidence of vaccination for all customers and staff, while New York mandates evidence of at least one shot for indoor activities.
This will take effect next Friday.
In addition to disease control centers and prevention paper cards that people say when they are vaccinated, California has set a record online with a rod code that can be used by people to prove their status.
Los Angeles is considering a similar step that requires people to have at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine before going to restaurants, bars, fitness centers, cinemas, and other places.
The city leaders there chose Wednesday to direct city lawyers to complete the details.
The announcement came a day after Governor Gavin Newsom said all employees in public and private schools in California had to show evidence of vaccination or faced weekly testing.
Breed is expected to announce Thursday’s mandate at the historic Vesuvio cafe on the north coast, a favorite ghost of the poet shake.
The cafe has asked visitors in the room to show evidence of vaccination.
