Sanction Center RS 1,539 Jalan Crore Project in Odisha under the economic corridor of Raipur-Visakhapatnam

Bhubaneswar: In the main infrastructure encouragement in Odisha, the center on Thursday approved the section of the six Lane Kaliagina-Baunsaguar section NH-130 under the economic corridor of Raipur-Visakhapatnam, which will be developed with an investment of around Rs 1,539 Crore.

Sources say new road projects will be developed through Nabarangpur and Coraput districts in the state.
The project will pass several interior bags such as Raighara, Umercote, Jharigon, Dabugoan, Papadanandi and Nabarangpur in the Nabarangpur area and Boriguma region, Dasamantapur, Coraput, Semiliguda and Pott in Coraput Regency.

About 1,500 hectares of land including large patch of forest land will be obtained for the NH project.
The forest transfer process has also begun by the district government.
The construction of one train overbridge will also be built in Coraput Regency where the NH authorities also started formalities with train authorities.
The official source said the tender process for stretching 120 km in the Nabarangpur district has been completed and the work has been given to the institution.
The NH authorities said the construction of the project in Nabarangpur Regency would begin in the next few months.
The proposed project will help reduce travel time substantially between Raipur and Visakhapatnam and also provide better connectivity to several remote bags in Coraput and Nabarangpur Regency.
It will facilitate transportation that is faster than easy-to-damaged items such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products and agricultural products marketing and develop crafts other than creating new jobs and trade on routes.
