Sanitation workers to end stir Patna HC order

Patna: In the main break to the residents who were shaken from the smell of garbage on the streets, striking sanitation workers from urban local bodies in the country had agreed to call for their attacks and returned to work on the direction of Patna High Court on Tuesday.
The court, on the other hand, has asked the state government to consider their demands and make decisions needed in eight weeks.
The division bench from the chairman of Judge Sanjay Karol and Justice S Kumar said sanitation workers would immediately continue their duties.
Meanwhile, the state government must make a decision on the charter of 12 points in eight weeks in accordance with the efforts received from the General Advoker representing the state government.
“Let the decision taken by the state government of the demands of employees is placed through a written statement from the main secretary, the Department of Urban and Housing Development, the Government of Bihar,” the court ordered while hearing the shared petition on Tuesday.
The next hearing will be held on October 21.
Advocate General Lalit Kishore stated that the problems highlighted by sanitation workers and their unions would be handled and made decisions, according to law, positive in eight weeks since Tuesday.
He further stated that before taking any final decision, the hearing opportunity would be given to their employee representatives and unity in the application.
Yogesh Chandra Versal’s senior advisor represents the unity of sanitation workers, highlighting their complaints that encourage them to carry out unlimited attacks.
He said the state government can consider releasing certain payments that do not need to be caused and accepted by employees.
Learning about contributions, the court said there was no reason why employees could not get their contributions in time.
Furthermore, the division bench directs that unbelievable contributions can be accepted and paid must be released to employees as early as possible, but no more than one week.
VERMA also said the state government should not continue with outsourcing policies.
In this case, the court said no one had complaints with state government policy decisions except, of course, it was significantly arbitrary or illegal.
“It is always open to judicial supervision in the right process.
However, we clarified that until that time the decision was taken by the state government over employee representatives, their services would not be discarded,” said the judge.
Senior advice also shows that during strikes, the state government has taken disciplinary action against 200 employees and the majority of the employees are issued with it.
However, General Advocates told this newspaper that the court had ordered that if employees were removed only because of strikes, their services would be restored by the employer / city government / state government.
“However, if such employees experience a violation of punishment or criminal or harm the property, they will face disciplinary actions according to the court order of my shipment,” he said.
