Sanskrit 1 school in e s’bhum named after kalam

JAMSHEDPUR: Muslim-owned organizations named Abdul Hanan Memorial Education, Welfare and Charitity Society, (Ahmewcs) here will open the first Sanskrit School in the district next month on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) -Chiliated Sanskrit School, which is named after the former President of India, Dr.
Apj Abdul Kalam, will conduct primary and secondary classes.
“For some time, our organization plans to open Sanskrit Middle School and earlier this year, when we learned that some Muslim students face difficulties in getting tickets in Sanskrit schools from neighboring districts, we decided to start our own school.” Secretary Ahmewcs Mohammad Tahir Hussein said, adding that land work to open school took place over the past two years.
“As soon as JAC gave his approval, we started with the process of hiring Master and so on,” Hussein said.
Spread in two hectares of land, the two-story building in Kalakeagar in Jawaharnagar, Mango, students from all religions are welcome to register at school, said Hussein.
To inaugurate the school on September 5, the Institute Management Committee worked on a war footing to complete recruitment and work related to receipt.
“Appointment of teachers and non-teaching staff will end at the end of this month.
We also conduct a student acceptance process simultaneously,” Hussein said.
“As a first step, we have prepared nine classrooms to start the session,” he added.
At present, the three JAC affiliated Sanskrit Schools operate in the Kobhan division.
“Every year 2,500 students from Jamshedpur sit for the Sanskrit language board exam,” he said.
Ahmewcs has run two schools – APJ Abdul Kalam High School and APJ Abdul Kalam Inter College – since 2008 and a total of 2,000 students registered in both schools.
