Kurukshetra: The government Haryana will cover the history of the mystical Saraswati River in the school and the Kurukshetra University curriculum, officials said on Friday.
Initially, the Heritage Development Board Haryana Saraswati (HSHDB) was ‘Saraswati Saraswati River Silabus’ led by Dr.
Pritam Singh, Assistant Director of the Study Center Dr.
BR Ambedkar in Kurukshetra University (KU), to prepare a curriculum for grade 6 to 10 students.
Then, Ku Chancellor Dr.
Nath Sachdeva is another committee led by Professor AR Chaudhary, Director, Research Center and the advantage of Saraswati River at the University with Dr.
Pritam Singh as chairman of his colleagues, to prepare syllabus based on Varsity course activities.
According to officials, the idea is to make young people aware of the history of the ancient river.

Chaudhary said the two committees held meetings every day to prepare and hand the syllabus for the school and a university course on September 15 to HSHDB, so it could be included in the curriculum as soon as possible.
Sachdeva said the course would be prepared in accordance with the new education policy – 2020 and highlighted the mythological history and literature of the Saraswati river under an activity-based educational course and open elective courses.
This course will provide information to students about the ancient civilization and holy river heritage, he said.
More than two years ago, the Haryana government has approved 11 projects for river rejuvenation.
This includes the construction of the Somb Saraswati series, Saraswati Reservoir and Adi Badri Dam on the Somb River, Yamuna River from Shivik Hill.
