According to him, the Saree with a trailing headscarf is award for his mother’s English heritage.

Along with a beautiful photo of Katrina, Sabyasachi wrote, ‘Katrina Kaif @Katrinakaf paid tribute to her mother’s English heritage during a pre-wedding celebration.
Sabyasachi is conceptualized and creates couture sari inspired by vintage with headscarves.
Silhouettes like white wedding dresses, pastel tulle sari decorated with british flowers cut hands, embroidered by craftsmen from Bengal and sprinkled freely with gems and semi-precious crystals.
Ensemble takes 40 craftsmen more than 1800 hours for handicrafts.
Sari paired with the Diamond Choker uncut statement that was detailed with Pale Russian opal and emerald, with matching earrings from Heritage Jewelry SABYASACHI @sabyasachijewelry ‘

Speaking of groom’s clothes, Sabyasachi wrote, “the groom also gave respect to the bride’s mother in Sutra Bangalore Snerwani and matched the churidar with the gold-plated Sabyasachi bengal tiger and artificial juttics with sabyasachi accessories.”
