Sleuth Bureau Anti-Corruption on Tuesday arrested Hitesh Joshi who was 55 years old after he demanded bribery for payment the amount of assistance received under the Pradhan Mantri was awake YOJNA.
The trap was placed after the complainant provided information to ACB in a toll-free number 1064.
Accused of being arrested at his home while accepting bribes.
Joshi previously took Rs 51,000 from prosecution and continued to need more money.

“The recipient gets assistance around Rs 3 Lakh for each house.
The contractor gets a job from the beneficiaries to do home construction work,” said an ACB officer, added that the contractor immediately received money from Sarpana.
At first, Joshi demanded RS 11,000 paid to him by the complainant.
But Joshi then demanded Rs 40,000 more, which again fulfilled satisfaction.
“However, the defendant continued to demand more money after that the complainant approached ACB,” said an officer, added that ACB would search the defendant’s residence for more evidence.
