Satish-Director of Satish Kaushik has purchased the rights to Malayalam National Award winning film, ‘Nirnnayakam’ (2015), who starred in Asif Ali and Malavika Mohanan.
Satish will direct and act in Hindi remake.
What’s interesting is that he has wandered around his friend, Actor Anupam Kher, to play the Pivotal character.
Satish Share, “I plan to give the title of Remake ‘Kaagaz 2’.
Like my last movie ‘Kaagaz’, which revolves around the social problems concerned, the story of the national award-winning film, ‘Nirnnayakam’, highlighted important social problems – violations of rights Human assistance and ordinary people’s strength to fight the system.
I was touched by the thought and concept of the film and decided to buy the right to make it back.
”

Satish Kaushik said, “There are two strong characters in the film together with young couples.
My friend Anupam Kher will play one of the roles.
Anupam and I returned far.
We met when we study at
National School of Drama (NSD) in 1975 and we have been friends since then.
It’s always good for sharing the stage or screen room with Anupam.
We have worked together in several films, including ‘Uttar Dakshin’ and ‘Ram Lakhan’.
Because our understanding as an actor and friend is always synchronous, I approach him to remake ‘nirnnayakam’ and I’m glad he agreed.
”
Anupam has also acted in satish direct efforts such as ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron King’, ‘Hum Aape Dil Mein Rehte Hain’, ‘Shaadi Se Pehle’ and ‘Ghost Gangs’.
As an artist, Satish has tried hard to remain relevant even after years.
He said, “Even though I was quite active as a filmmaker, I never left acting.
In the past few years, I have been a part of a film like ‘UDTA Punjab’, ‘Soorma’, ‘Chhalaang’ and my own director, ‘Kaagaz’ .
I feel very felt that I have adapted to change time and has recreated myself.
With Hindi remake from ‘Nirnnayakam’ and several projects, I will play an important role.
