Saudi Arabia prohibits Tabligh Jamaat, calling it ‘terror gate’

In what can have significant consequences for India, Saudi Arabia has shocked the world of Islam by prohibiting Tabligh Jamaat, the Islamic Proselity Movement, calling it “one of the gates of terrorism”.
With the ban, the group will face slow deaths in many parts of the world because the Saudi Charity Agency has become the main source of funds for the movement launched in India to “purify” Islam.
Some governments can also follow Saudi, but countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia, Bangladesh and Pakistan, who have a substantial Tabligh population, may find it difficult to do so.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia Tweeted: “The Majesty Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr.
# Abdullatif Al_alsheikh directs the preachers and mosque mosques who hold prayers for Friday to allocate the next Friday 5/6/1443 H to warn (Tabli & Da’wah Group ) Mentioned (Al Ahbab).
“The Tabli Movement began in India 100 years.
The Agote government has directed the preacher of the mosque to tell people that Saudi Arabia is prohibited from partnering with party groups, including Tabli Group and Da’wah.
The Tabli Movement came from India only during the previous SEABAD, led by Mohammed Ilyas Kandllawi preaching back to “pure” Islam, a boiled goal to advise people repent in India from the Hindu past, they insisted on Islam.
Mohammad Ilyas first launched his campaign in the Melat region in northwestern India, where many Hindus repentants embraced their original faith in response to the ‘Shuddhi’ Arya Samaj campaign, the original version of ‘Ghar Wapsi’.
Tabligis acquired a global footprint with the passage of time, with Saudi money, among other factors, triggering their growth.
However, in recent years, the move towards “pure” Islam has been associated with fundamentalism, and has attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies in several countries.
Their insistence on puritanism and savings has been seen as a radicalization facilitation.
In the Saudi context, Tablighis has been opposed by Wahhabis, the ruler’s sect in the desert kingdom, who accused them of being “big worshipers”.
In 2016, Abd-al-Aziz Ibn Baz, the former Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, issued a fatwa against Tabligh Jamaat, accused them of “heresy” and “idols”.
Tabligh was a problem in April 2020 when the big church continued their meeting in Delhi during the first Covid locking, opposing the protocol.
