Rajkot: The first open house involving high-ranking officials and local industries Saurashtra and Kutch held at Lodhika GIDC on Thursday with the aim of providing solutions to some important issues related to small and medium units in the region.
A total of 15 industrial associations from Rajkot, Morbi and the Federation of Kikch Industries Associations (Fokia) represent their problems to the team consisting of Industrial Commissioner Rahul Gupta, Deputy Chairperson of GIDC and MD Malnarasan, GPCB member secretary AV Shah and others.
Speaking with Toi, Gupta said “The Industrial Association discussed a series of problems, most of them relating to GIDC.
The officers concerned have responded thus and we have convinced them to issue problems that can be completed quickly.
